First Aid at Work

3 day

A full Health and Safety Executive (HSE) recognised First Aid at Work course, in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

Once qualified, holders of this First Aid at Work certificate can be used as First Aiders in the workplace in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

This is our most advanced HSE course and includes all of the EFAW Syllabus plus:

  • Advance Wound Care
  • Eye Injuries
  • Head Injuries
  • Poisons
  • Burns and Scalds
  • Asthma
  • Dislocations
  • Diabetes
  • Fractures
  • Stroke

In addition, more time is spent embedding the core skills from the EFAW.

EFAW
Emergency First Aid at Work

1 day

A full Health and Safety Executive (HSE) recognised Emergency First Aid at Work course, in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

Once qualified, holders of this First Aid at Work certificate can be used as First Aiders in the workplace in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

AR
Annual Refresher

1/2 day

The FAW/EFAW qualifications last for 3 years. It is obvious that over that time period, knowledge will need refreshing and updating, particularly at this time with key changes resulting from the Covid Pandemic.

The HSE strongly recommend that all qualified First Aiders receive annual refresher training to embed their previous learning.

This is a short course and is aimed at refreshing core skills and providing any training updates.

We can also include bespoke subjects based on client needs such as Anaphylaxis.

BLS
Basic Life Support

1/2 day

This course is designed to provide a basic level of First Aid knowledge in a shorter time period. Once qualified, holders will have competence in the key areas of basic First Aid.

This is an excellent alternative if the full HSE recognised courses are not required.
